In the competition organised by Kanton, a strategic communications agency, Axfood received maximum points in the Best Interim Report category and the highest points in the Best IR Website and Best Annual Report categories.

Listed Company of the Year is organised by Kanton and is Sweden’s most comprehensive competition in financial communication and investor relations. The competition aims to raise the ambition level of companies regarding financial information and achieve a more uniform design of company websites, interim reports, and annual reports.

With maximum points in the Best Interim Report category and the highest points in the Best IR Website and Best Annual Report categories, Axfood stands as the winner of Listed Company of the Year 2024.

– Openness, clarity, and transparency in our financial communication are extremely important to us at Axfood, and we work in parallel with our various channels to communicate about our operations and its development. We are therefore honoured and very proud to be named the Listed Company of the Year 2024. It is a great recognition that our communication maintains a high level and contributes to strengthening the understanding of our group in the capital markets, says Alexander Bergendorf, Head of Investor Relations at Axfood.

Jury motivation for the award:

“Axfood offers comprehensive and appealing financial communication regardless of the channel. As a complement to the company’s reports, there is an easy-to-navigate website where users can find everything from historical data to current information regarding its operations and work. Together, the three communication channels provide a comprehensive yet clear insight into the company and its operating environment, enabling users to make well-informed investment decisions.”
